Shotfol.io is a local-first photography catalog. It extracts every EXIF/IPTC/XMP tag, computes hashes for duplicate detection, optionally tags photos with CLIP or Claude, and serves the whole thing as a fast browser UI on your machine. No cloud. No subscription. Your files stay where they are.
Shotfol.io is currently in private beta. If you've been given a .dmg link, drag the app to /Applications and right-click → Open the first time to bypass Gatekeeper. Your library + settings live under ~/.shotfolio/.
Update notices arrive automatically — the app checks /latest.json on launch and prompts when a newer version is available.
